The year 1990 marked the beginning of automation and optimization of all business processes through one instrument. ERP system is an information system for integrated management of the corporation as a whole that has several functionalities from tools for procurement management, warehousing, and order processing, through analytical data processing to sales and production planning techniques. The installation of the mentioned software is carried in six phases, among which are: planning, design, development, testing, production phase, and support and updating. Special emphasis is set on the design phase in which an As-is process analysis was created. Within the empirical part of the paper, an As-is analysis was performed for the organization MAG Sistem d.o.o., whose main activity is the design, manufacture, and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The company is divided into five organizational units, and the As-is analysis illustrates in detail the main processes, employee positions, and the documents used for each department. The proposed solution for implementation is the software program Odoo with associated modules: Sales, Accounting, Inventory, Procurement, Project, Costs, Absences, Employees, Transportation, Repair, and POS cash register. Based on the satisfaction of board members, a resolution was made on the future implementation of the Odoo system, which validates research hypotheses, precisely it confirms that the software facilitates process and resource control, influences changes in management accounting, and reduces the time required to gather and process data.
