Abstract
Glavni cilj diplomskog rada bio je istražiti determinante potražnje za osiguranjem imovine kućanstva od rizika potresa u Republici Hrvatskoj. Statistički su se analizirali podaci prikupljeni anketom kojoj su pristupila 133 ispitanika. Anketa je sadržavala ukupno 20 pitanja. Analizom je utvrđeno da jedino dohodak i vrijednost imovine utječu na potražnju za imovinskim osiguranjem od rizika potresa. S druge strane, ne postoji statistički značajna razlika između potražnje za imovinskim osiguranjem i sljedećih čimbenika: izloženost riziku potresa, prijašnje iskustvo s potresima, cijena police osiguranja, trenutni radni status, dob, stupanj obrazovanja ispitanika te averzija prema riziku.
Abstract (english)
The main goal of the thesis was to investigate the determinants of demand for insuring household property from earthquake risk in the Republic of Croatia. Data collected by a survey of 133 respondents were statistically analyzed. The survey contained a total of 20 questions. The analysis found that only the income and value of assets affect the demand for property insurance against earthquake risk. On the other hand, there is no statistically significant difference between the demand for property insurance and the following determinants: earthquake risk exposure, previous earthquake experience, insurance policy price, current employment status, age, level of education of respondents and risk aversion.
