Abstract
Menadžment ljudskih resursa uključuje politike, prakse i sustave koji utječu na ponašanje zaposlenika, njihove stavove i radnu uspješnost. Mnoga poduzeća nastoje pronaći način da poboljšaju svoje poslovanje, a to bi mogli ostvariti zadovoljnim i motiviranim zaposlenicima. Motivacija se prvenstveno odnosi na žudnju za zadovoljavanjem ciljeva, dok se zadovoljstvo odnosi na ispunjenje koje osjećamo zbog zadovoljenja cilja. U ovom radu je, stoga, provedeno istraživanje nad zaposlenicima poduzeća AWT International kako bi se analizira razina njihove motivacije i zadovoljstva. Rad se sastoji od teorijskog i empirijskog dijela. U prvom dijelu definirani su pojmovi i teorije motivacije i zadovoljstva, dok se drugi dio rada odnosi na provedeno istraživanje. Istraživanjem se pokazalo kako ekstrinzični faktori više pozitivno motiviraju zaposlenike, novčane kompenzacije, radno vrijeme i međuljudski odnosi pozitivno utječu na zadovoljstvo zaposlenika, te da su radni staž i zadovoljstvo zaposlenika kako varijable pozitivno statistički značajno povezane.
Abstract (english)
Human resource management includes policies, practices, and systems that influence employee behavior, their attitudes, and job performance. Many companies strive to find a way to improve their operations, and they could achieve that through satisfied and motivated employees. Motivation primarily refers to the desire to satisfy goals, while satisfaction refers to the fulfillment we feel due to the satisfaction of a goal. In this paper, therefore, a survey was conducted on the employees of AWT International in order to analyze the level of their motivation and satisfaction. The paper consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the first part, the concepts and theories of motivation and satisfaction are defined, while the second part of the paper refers to the conducted research. The research showed that extrinsic factors motivate employees more positively, monetary compensation, working hours and interpersonal relationships have a positive effect on employee satisfaction, and that length of service and employee satisfaction as variables are positively and statistically significantly related.
