Abstract
Mala i srednja poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj vrlo su značajna jer čine okosnicu gospodarstva sa 98% poduzeća u navedenom sektoru. Pandemija COVID-19 imala je razoran utjecaj na svjetsko gospodarstvo, a posebno na male i srednje poduzetnike. S obzirom na novonastalu krizu velikih razmjera, Europska Unija i Vlada Republike Hrvatske započele su s uvođenjem potpora za lakše ostvarivanje dodatnih financijskih sredstava, mjera za očuvanje radnih mjesta i održavanje likvidnosti poduzeća te potpora poslodavcima i zaposlenicima. Cilj je bio ublažiti posljedice koje je novonastala kriza prouzrokovala te omogućiti lakše ostvarivanje prava na financijska sredstva za pomoć. S obzirom na važnost MSP u Republici Hrvatskoj, potrebno je dodatno prilagoditi financijsko pitanje i poslovno okruženje kako bi se ovaj sektor brže i lakše prilagodio novonastalim promjenama.
Abstract (english)
Small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Croatia are quite important since they form the backbone of the economy with 98% of enterprises in the mentioned sector. The COVID-19 pandemic had a devastating impact on the world economy, especially impacting small and medium-sized businesses. In view of the emerging large-scale crisis, the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Croatia have begun to introduce subsidies to facilitate the realization of additional financial resources, measures to preserve jobs and maintain financial liquidity, and support for employers and employees. The goal was to mitigate the consequences caused by the emerging crisis and to enable easier financial assistance. Considering the importance of SMEs in the Republic of Croatia, it is necessary to adjust all the financial issues and the business environment in order for this sector to adapt more quickly and easily to the new challenges.
