Abstract
Odobrenjem ulaska u Europsku Uniju, Hrvatska je zakoračila na put ulaska u eurozonu. Cilj puta koji označava ulazak u eurozonu, Hrvatska će dostići 01.01.2023. godine kada euro postaje službena hrvatska valuta. U ovom radu objašnjavaju se prvi koraci Hrvatskog dinara i kune kao samostalne valute te njihovi usponi i padovi. Prikazuju se postepeni koraci koji su bili potrebni od strane EMU-a da se zajednička valuta na prostoru EU napravi. Svaka od država članica koje žele ulazak u eurozonu bilo je potrebno tri faze priprema. Hrvatska svoj put u eurozonu počinje ulaskom u Europsku Uniju 1.7.2013. godine. Hrvatska u zadnjih 10 godina laganim ali sigurnim koracima uspjeva sve uvjete rješiti te tako doći korak bliže eurozoni. Ovaj rad uz to prikazuje pozitivne i negativne strane uvođenja eura na gospodarstvo RH te ostale zemlje članica.
Abstract (english)
By approving its entry into the European Union, Croatia has stepped on the path to joining the eurozone. Croatia will reach the goal of entering the Eurozone on January 1, 2023. when the euro becomes the official Croatian currency. This paper explains first steps with „Croatian dinar“ and „Croatian kuna“ as independent currencies and their ups and downs. It shows the gradual steps that were required by the EMU to create a common currency in the EU area. Each of the member states wishing to join the eurozone needed three stages of preparation. Croatia begins it's journey into the eurozone by joining the European Union on July 1st, 2013. In the last 10 years, Croatia overcame all necessary steps to be able to join the eurozone. This paper also shows the positive and negative sides of the introduction euro as offical currency in Croatia and other members of eurozone.
