Abstract
Društveno odgovorno poslovanje (DOP) danas je sve važniji aspekt suvremenih poslovnih praksi, posebno u sektorima gdje dominiraju veće institucije što se posebno odnosi na bankarski sektor koji je danas svojevrsna kralježnica svake velike ekonomije svijeta. Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje koncept društveno odgovornog poslovanja u kontekstu bankarskog sektora, analizira prednosti njegove primjene kao i izazove same implementacije, te pruža mali uvid u ulogu koju banke danas igraju u društvu. U... More prvom dijelu rada, analiziraju se osnovni koncepti društveno odgovornog poslovanja i njegova evolucija kroz povijest. Istražuju se različiti pristupi i modeli društveno odgovornog poslovanja kao i zakonodavstvo društveno odgovornog poslovanja u Republici Hrvatskoj. Drugi dio rada analizira poslovne subjekte koji će biti promatrani u radu. Zadnji dio rada će istražiti primjenu društveno odgovornog poslovanja prethodno promatranih subjekata kao i općenito svijest zaposlenika promatranih poslovnih subjekata o DOP-u i njegovoj primjeni u praksi. Zaključno, rad naglašava važnost društveno odgovornog poslovanja u bankarskom sektoru kao temelj za izgradnju održive budućnosti. Abstract (english)
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an increasingly important aspect of modern business practices today, especially in sectors dominated by larger institutions. This is particularly relevant to the banking sector, which is now considered the backbone of every major world economy. This graduate thesis explores the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility in the context of the banking sector, analyzes the benefits of its implementation, as well as the challenges of implementation, and... More provides a brief insight into the role that banks play in society today. In the first part of the thesis, we analyze the basic concepts of Corporate Social Responsibility and its evolution throughout history. We explore various approaches and models of Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as the legislation related to CSR in the Republic of Croatia. The second part of the thesis analyzes the business entities that will be examined in the study. The final part of the thesis will investigate the application of Corporate Social Responsibility by the previously examined entities and the general awareness of employees of these business entities regarding CSR and its practical application. In conclusion, the thesis emphasizes the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility in the banking sector as a foundation for building a sustainable future. It provides an overview of current initiatives and trends in CSR in banks and highlights the need for further research and progress in this area to enable the banking sector to have a positive impact on society and the economy.
