Nowadays it is possible to observe the appearance of academic entrepreneurship as a response by student to the unemployment. The curricula in higher education are under constant pressure due noncompliance of supply and demand for knowledge, therefore, higher education institutions access the methodical - didactic teaching methods, through the establishment of student business incubators. It has already been a noticeable trend that the existence of (successful) incubators at universities, raises the credibility and image of the university, and also invites students to self-employment. Student business incubators are an important part of the local community because they are in the role of „motor of the economy“, and a generator of new jobs. Student business incubators are link between research, education and economics. The empirical work is based on the theoretical implications, which are evident in the theoretical framework defined before. Through this work, gender specific barriers to entrepreneurial engagements of students are destroyed, also the lack of differences in the attitudes of students of different studies on academic entrepreneurship has been observed. Influence of environment around student on his ambitions has been analytically processed,as well as the impact of Faculty on the decisions made by students on dealing with entrepreneurship - there is no impact. Also, in this paper are researched the relationships between self-assessment of entrepreneurial spirit in students, and the study orientation at the Faculty – has significantly affected. In the paper are specified methodological limitations of research, as well as recommendations for further research.
