Business angels are a relatively new form of investment in entrepreneurial ventures. Business angels are generally considered rich individuals who already have some entrepreneurial experience, and invest money in most cases in new and young companies, with the aim of creating even greater wealth of their own. But business angels do not necessarily only invest money, but in most cases they also invest their rich business experience and in this way additionally contribute to the company in which they invest. The Covid-19 crisis that appeared at the beginning of 2020 led to numerous and major instabilities in the business markets. The research problem in this paper was to study the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on business angel investments. The aim of the work was to determine how the Covid-19 crisis affected the decrease/increase in business angel investments, to investigate what role business angels play in the companies they finance, and to determine the advantages and disadvantages of business angels. The research results showed that business angels continued to invest in business ventures during the pandemic, but in smaller amounts than usual. There has also been a noticeable increase in the interest of business angels in investing in new technology, biotechnology, software, distance education, and healthcare and medical equipment. Although during the pandemic, almost a third of business angels say they stopped their investments, the rest invested equally in existing and new business ventures.
