China’s economic growth underwent a complete transformation between 1980 and 2015, marked by the transition from a rural economy to a global economic superpower. China has gone through a process of rapid industrialization with a major orientation to export, and special attention has been paid to sophisticated products. China's economic growth efficiency has been affected by high investment rates, low fertility, extended life expectancy and institutional quality. Sino-African relations have existed since the time of the Ming Dynasty and represent connections on an economic, social, historical, and political level. The will and perseverance of maintaining the best possible relations were also influenced by the fact that the African continent belongs to the countries of the "Third World". Their relationship begins with China's open door policy. In the 21st century, China is becoming Africa’s main economic partner with big investment plans. Chinese investments in Africa have enabled the improvement in the mining, construction, finance, manufacturing and transportation industries. Significant projects have been launched and implemented, such as the railway connecting Zambia and Tanzania and the highway in Algeria. There are large differences in investment flows between individual regions within the African continent caused by the unrest and political instability that is characteristic of the northern parts of Africa.
