Abstract
Završni rad proučava pojam destinacijske menaţment kompanije i ulogu koju društvene mreţe imaju na njezino poslovanje. U radu je sadrţan teorijski opis pojma destinacijske menadţment kompanije, kako se ona razvijala, koje su njene usluge te prednosti tih usluga za turiste. Opisuje se vaţnost društvenih mreţa u turizmu i promocije putem tih društvenih mreţa. U dijelu u kojem govorimo o društvenim mreţama su opisane najvaţnije društvene mreţe u turizmu i njihova uloga s obzirom na teritorijalnu pokrivenost destinacijske menadţment kompanije. U dijelu gdje se analizira vaţnost promocije putem društvenih mreţa na poslovanje destinacijske menadţment kompanije se definira kako odreĎena društvena mreţa moţe biti alat za promociju. U zadnjem dijelu rada se opisuje odabrana destinacijska menadţment kompanija- Vetus Itinera, gdje se analizira svaka društvena mreţa koju ona koristi, kao i vaţnost tih društvenih mreţa na njeno poslovanje.
Abstract (english)
The final paper examines the concept of destination management companies and the role that social networks have on it’s business. The paper contains a theoretical description of the concept of a destination management company, how it developed, what it’s services are and the benefits of these services for tourists. It describes the importance of social networks in tourism and promotion through these social networks. In section were we are talking about social network we describe the most important social networks in tourism and their role in terms of the territorial coverage of the destination management company. In the part where the importance of promotion through social networks is analyzed on the operations of a destination management company, it is defined how a certain social network can be a promotion tool. In the last part of the paper, the selected destination management company - Vetus Itinera is described, where each social network that it uses is analyzed as well as the importance of these social networks to its business.
