Abstract
Na pad kreditnih ativnosti banaka različitih bankarskih sustava u post kriznom periodu izravno je utjecala pojava krize. Iz tog proizlazi i predmet istraživanja ovog diplomskog rada a to bi bio utjecaj globalne financijske krize na poslovanje banaka te na smanjenje njihove dobiti kao i pregled svih čimbenika koji su doveli do financijske krize i ove situacije. Nakon uvida u teorijski dio problematike, tj. identifikacije glavnih uzročnika krize i definiranja regulatornih okvira prikazana je i analiza aktivnosti banaka nakon globalne financijske krize.Analizom se pokazalo da je prereguliranost europskog bankovnog sustava umanjila kreditne aktivnosti bankovnog sektora te da kreditna aktivnost bankovnog sektora ovisi o realnim makroekonomskim pokazateljima. Nakon čega se potvrđuje i glavna hipoteza ovog diplomskog rada da banke u različitim poslovnim okruženjima i pravnim jurisdikcijama imaju različite performanse poslovnih aktivnosti nakon financijske krize.
Abstract (english)
The fall in credit ratings of banks in different banking systems in the post-crisis period was directly influenced by the emergence of the crisis. From this comes the subject of research of this thesis, which would be the impact of the global financial crisis on the operations of banks and the reduction of their profits, as well as an overview of all the factors that led to the financial crisis and this situation. After an insight into the theoretical part of the problem, ie the identification of the main causes of the crisis and the definition of regulatory frameworks, an analysis of the activities of banks after the global financial crisis is presented. The analysis shows that the overregulation of the European banking system has diminished the lending activities of the banking sector and that the lending activity of the banking sector depends on realistic macroeconomic indicators. After that, the main hypothesis of this thesis is confirmed that banks in different business environments and legal jurisdictions have different performance of business activities after the financial crisis.
