Abstract
Društvena odgovornost, relativno nov pojam u poslovanju u velikoj mjeri oblikovan 60-tih godina, podrazumijeva obvezu menadžmenta da pravi izbore i poduzima akcije koje će doprinijeti dobrobiti i interesima društva i poduzeća. Drugim riječima, društvena odgovornost znači razlikovanje pravog od krivog i činjenje pravog. Do razvoja koncepta društveno odgovornog poslovanja dolazi krajem 20. stoljeća, te se razlikuje više vrsti, modela i dimenzija koncepta. Društveno odgovorno poslovanje je... More relativno nov pojam na tržištu Republike Hrvatske, no posljednjih godina dolazi do promjena te sve veći broj poduzeća shvaća ulogu koncepta u poslovanju te ujedno dolazi do razvoja Indeksa kako bi se ocijenila odgovornost prakse poslovanja hrvatskih tvrtki. Ostvarivanje konkurentske prednosti predstavlja jedan od temeljnih elemenata poslovanja poduzeća, te ono posjeduje konkurentsku prednost kada je sposobno proizvesti veću ekonomsku vrijednost nego njegov najveći konkurent na tržištu proizvoda. Pri tome se ekonomska vrijednost odnosi na razliku između percipiranih koristi kupaca i ekonomskog troška poduzeća. Pravilno korištenje koncepta društveno odgovornog poslovanja može pomoću poduzeću prilikom izgradnje konkurentske prednosti i time stjecanju prednosti na tržištu. Kako bi se realizirali ciljevi istraživanja diplomskog rada, te testirale postavljene hipoteze o vezi između društveno odgovornog poslovanja i konkurentske prednosti, odabrana je jedna od pet najvećih banaka na tržištu Republike Hrvatske. Social responsibility, a relatively new term in business largely shaped in the 1960s, implies an obligation on management to make choices and take actions that will contribute to the well-being and interests of society and businesses. In other words, social responsibility means distinguishing the right from the wrong and doing the right. Corporate Social Responsibility is a relatively new concept on the Croatian market, but in recent years, there have been changes and an increasing number of companies are realizing the role of the concept in business and at the same time developing the Index to evaluate the responsibility of the practices of Croatian companies. Achieving competitive advantage is one of the fundamental elements of an enterprise's business, and it has a competitive advantage when it is capable of producing greater economic value than its largest competitor in the product market. In doing so, economic value refers to the difference between the perceived benefits of customers and the economic cost of the enterprise. Proper use of the concept of corporate social responsibility can help a company build competitive advantage and thereby gain market advantage. In order to realize the goals of the diploma research and to test the hypotheses regarding the relationship between corporate social responsibility and competitive advantage, one of the five largest banks in the Croatian market was selected.
