Abstract
Ovaj završni rad analizira potencijale razvoja gastronomskog turizma u regijama Slavonije i Baranje, naglašavajući važnost lokalne tradicije, kulture i autohtone kuhinje kao ključne faktore za privlačenje turista. Istražuje povijesni razvoj gastronomskog turizma u ovim regijama, uz isticanje vrlo važne uloge lokalnih OPG-ova, restorana i vinarija u stvaranju autentične turističke ponude. Rad identificira glavne motive i profile turista koji posjeduju ovu regiju radi gastronomskih doživljaja. Kroz analizu statističkih podataka o dolascima turista i noćenjima, te pregleda trenutnog stanja turističke infrastrukture ističu se ključni izazovi i prilike za daljnji razvoj ovog specifičnog oblika turizma. Zaključeno je da Slavonija i Baranja imaju značajan prostor za daljnji rast kroz razvoj prepoznatljivog brenda, umrežavanje lokalnih dionika i ulaganje u infrastrukturu.
Abstract (english)
This final thesis analyses development potential of gastronomic tourism in Slavonia and Baranja, emphasizing the importance of local tradition, cultures and indigenous cuisine as a key factors for attracting tourist. The historical development of gastronomic tourism in these regions is explored, highlighting the role of local family farms, restaurants and wineries in creating authentic tourist experiences. The thesis indentifies the main motives and profiles of tourists visiting Slavonia and Baranja for culinary experiences. Through an analysis of statistical dana on tourists arrivals and overnight stays, along with an overview of the current state of tourism infrastructure, the key challanges and opportunitise for further development of this niche tourism are highlighted. It is concluded that Slavonia and Baranja have significant potential to position themselves on Croatia's tourist map through the development of a recognizable gastronomic brand, networking among local stakeholders and investment in infrastructure.
