Abstract
Danas se zahvaljujući stalnim unapređenjima u tehnologiji sve lakše rješavaju problemi vezani uz distribuciju robe do kupca. Svaki element distribucije ima svoja obilježja, te određene smjernice koje prodajno-distribucijski centri mogu primijeniti u svojem poslovanju kako bi spriječili potencijalne probleme koji mogu nastati pri distribuciji robe do kupca. Pojednostavljuje se proces naručivanja robe koji postaje sve više automatiziran, a pažljivim planiranjem zaliha se sve više smanjuju troškovi držanja zaliha na skladištu. Najnovije tehnologije vezane za skladište omogućile su lakša unutarnja kretanja i transport robe do prijevoznog sredstva, a manipulacijom robe i njenom paletizacijom su omogućene velike uštede u prostoru, te zaštita robe prilikom prijevoza do kupca.
Abstract (english)
Thanks to the constant improvements in technology, solving distribution problems becomes easier every day. Every distribution element has its characteristics and certain guidelines which sales and distribution centers can apply in their management, in order to prevent potential problems connected to distribution of the goods to the customer. Ordering goods becomes more simplified and automated, and careful stock planning is reducing the costs of keeping stocks in warehouses. Newest warehouse technologies are enabling easier internal transports, and transport of the goods from the warehouse to the vehicle. Manipulation of the goods and palettization are contributing to great savings in space, and improving protection of the goods while being transported.
