Abstract
Europska unija definira obiteljsko poslovanje kao poslovanje u kojem se javlja poduzeće gdje većina prava odluĉivanja ima osnivaĉ ili osoba koja je kupila poduzeće i najbliţi srodnici, u upravljanje poduzećem ukljuĉena je najmanje jedna osoba iz obitelji, te, u sluĉaju dioniĉkih društava osnivaĉ / vlasnik dijela poduzeća sa srodnicima i nasljednicima posjeduje najmanje 25% prava odluĉivanja. Primjer vrlo uspješnog obiteljskog poslovanja u Republici Hrvatskoj je Mesna industrija Braća Pivac...
